Absorption chilling systems
Absorption chilling systems turn heat into cold. Where otherwise expensive electricity is the drive energy in a mechanical refrigeration system, free waste heat can be used, for example. This is how sustainable production of cold water for processes or room cooling works. Energy costs and CO2 emissions are reduced.
Turning heat into cold
With absorption refrigeration systems (AKA), Baelz offers you an environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and flexible technology for refrigeration. Three standard versions are available: bee®, bumblebee® and hornet®, so called because of their coloring and their different size. Their power ranges are 50, 160 and 500 kW. They are compact and use excess heat for building and process cooling. Hot, cold and cooling water volume flows can be individually adapted to the project.
