Sappi - Austria: pressure increase with steam ejectors
Wood chips being processed in digesters for paper production require steam pressures of up to 5 bar g. Before having installed regulated thermocompressors, only 2.5 bar g were attainable. Using the baelz 590 thermocompressor, the pressure can now be increased as necessary.
